Just over a week remains in the January transfer window as Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd are linked with various targets

Man Utd have been linked with Cole Palmer
The January transfer window is approaching its business end, with clubs having just a little over a week to tidy up any deals. Teams across the UK have had weeks to scour the market and assess suitable acquisitions - and with a 7pm deadline to adhere to come February 2, sporting directors and club officials may want to move quickly to avoid deadline day disappointment.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with Stade Rennais defender Jeremy Jacquet, as Liam Rosenior wastes very little time in bolstering his backline for the second-half of the season. However, the Blues could have a task at hand in retaining some of their top talents.
The news broke earlier this week that Manchester United have been linked with Cole Palmer, with reports suggesting that the 23-year-old is unsettled in the English capital. While Rosenior has since refuted these claims, the Red Devils have now been linked with Chelsea's Liam Delap, who has failed to find his stride since joining the club from Ipswich last summer.
Elsewhere, Arne Slot admitted: "I need all of my players," after a cruel 3-2 loss to Bournemouth on Saturday night, which saw Joe Gomez's availability cast into speculation, after he was subbed off in the first half. The Dutchman's squad is looking incredibly thin at present, with injuries at the back to Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni proving particularly problematic. And with Andrew Robertson recently linked with Spurs, Slot may hope to bring in further defensive options ahead of deadline day.

Sunderland eye goalkeeper
Sunderland have made contact with German side Borussia Monchengladbach over a potential deal to sign goalkeeper Jonas Omlin.
That's according to Sky Germany, which claims that the Black Cats want the Swiss shot-stopper, who has dropped down from being number one at his club. Omlin would offer competition with Robin Roefs, who has impressed since moving to the Premier League.

Harvey Elliott chance
Aston Villa have included Harvey Elliott in their squad for today's game against Newcastle United, reports the Telegraph. The midfielder joined on loan from Liverpool last summer, but has been left in the cold in recent weeks to avoid activating a permanent buy clause.
That deal would be worth £35m, but has been the reason behind him not featuring since October. With injuries in the squad, it remains to be seen whether Elliott will get his chance to shine.

Arsenal eye Real Madrid youngster
Arsenal are eyeing a potential move for Real Madrid youngster Victor Valdepenas, report the BBC. It's claimed that the 19-year-old is of interest to the Gunners, but an official approach is yet to be made.
Valdepenas has a £43m release clause in his deal, after making his senior debut for Real Madrid earlier this season.

Trent Alexander-Arnold latest
There were reports from Spain that Trent Alexander-Arnold had been told he can leave Real Madrid, just months after his free transfer switch from Liverpool.
However, according to the Daily Mail, that isn't the case at all. While the defender has struggled through injury in his time with Los Blancos so far, it seems as though they will stick by him to see if his true quality can shine through.

Cole Palmer update
Manchester United have been linked with a remarkable move for Chelsea star Cole Palmer. The playmaker has a boyhood link to the club, but a move to Old Trafford remains unlikely.
The Telegraph reports that Palmer is "untouchable" at Chelsea, meaning they won't let him leave. With a contract until 2033, he could be at Stamford Bridge for the foreseeable future.

Harry Wilson battle
Fulham boss Marco Silva has urged the club to do everything they can to keep Harry Wilson. The forward has impressed this season, scoring eight goals in the Premier League so far.
However, with just a few months left on his contract, there is a possibility that he could leave as a free agent. Silva said after yesterday's win over Brighton: "We are in the fight, we are trying to keep him.
"If you ask me if it’s going to be easy, I say it’s not going to be easy. The more he scores, many more clubs are going to be around him.
"This is football business. When a player goes to the end of his contract, this kind of thing is going to happen. I know he’s happy in our club and how much he’s enjoying the moment. It’s up to the club to do the maximum to keep him."

Arne Slot makes Andy Robertson claim
Andy Robertson has been linked with a move to Tottenham in the January transfer window. However, Liverpool boss Arne Slot has claimed he needs all of his players available, amid those links.
He told Sky Sports: "I need all my players. I always knew that another 90 minutes for Milos Kerkez against an intense Bournemouth side was not a possibility so I already knew I had to bring Robertson in.
"But I had already made one substitution, so you only have two windows left so I brought him on at half time to make sure Kerkez stays available for the rest of the season. I have to manage that. The last thing we need is another injury."
