Get ready for an exciting adventure with the Young Lions! We're thrilled to announce a unique opportunity for aspiring riders to join us at our upcoming training camp in Glasgow. This two-day event, scheduled for February 16th and 17th during the school half-term break, promises to be an unforgettable experience.
But here's where it gets controversial... The Young Lions have decided to shake things up this year by moving the camp to Glasgow, thanks to the support of our new sponsor, Allied Mobility. While some may question the timing and location, especially with the chilly Scottish weather, we believe it's an opportunity to embrace a new challenge and create lasting memories.
Neil Vatcher, the boss of British Youth, shared his enthusiasm, saying, "With the backing of our sponsors, we've successfully hosted these camps in the past, and we're excited to continue this tradition. This year, we're grateful for the support of Allied Mobility, and we're looking forward to exploring a new venue in Glasgow."
And this is the part most people miss... The Glasgow track staff are renowned for their expertise, ensuring a top-notch experience for our riders. So, despite the early year and the need for extra layers, we're confident that this camp will be a success.
Further details, including the confirmation of coaches, will be revealed at the Young Lions Presentation evening on January 24th in Coventry. All riders and their families who are eligible for the 2025 and 2026 British Youth Championship are welcome to attend.
